Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Cecily is the youngest of five children. She has been an educator for over 25 years and has a passion for serving others. Spending time with her parents (who are 80 and still energetic), siblings, friends, nieces, nephews, and mostly the great nieces and nephews brings her joy. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, line dancing, listening to music, and serving the community as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Cecily hopes this book will help others learn to live through the pain. She uses personal experiences and insights to guide readers though her story, struggles, pain, and purpose. Prayer, faith, family, and friends are priorities in her life.
